EXPENDABLES 3

The Expendables 3 released their first trailer yesterday.  It's exactly what you'd expect from a Expendables movie, a bunch of action stars from the past and a bunch of explosions.  Some notable new comers to the franchise are Antonio Banderas, Harrison Ford, Kelsey Grammar, Mel Gibson, and Wesley Snipes.  I'm not quite sure why Kelsey Grammar is included the only action movie I can think of him in is X-Men 3.  If you liked the first two movies this one shouldn't disappoint.  It comes out 8/15 and if the trailer is to be believed it will be the last Expendables movie.  After watching the trailer below let me know which actors you think should have been in the movie.

  1. I think they just about covered all the manliness that they could possibly cover in one movie. I mean, the only way to get manlier than this is probably go the opposite direction and get a bunch of pink clothing and the most feminine female actors out there. Reverse manliness is the only way to go, they've reached their peak.

    1. That would make an interesting movie, made me think of the movie "To Wong Foo Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar".

  2. You know, I love these movies because of the craziness of seeing so many of the older action stars in one place. This series doesn't take itself to seriously so it is tons of fun to watch.

    1. Yea, these are fun movies and I agree how they don't take themselves too seriously. I'm sure number 3 will be just as entertaining and over the top as the first two.

    1. Jason Statham will be in this film. He was also in the first two and I agree he is good in action movies. I think my favorite was The Italian Job.

  4. I didn't see the first three.... would I need to see them to see the third and be able to follow along? So times you can get caught up in about 5 minutes, and other times they go a complete different route anyway. Any suggestions?

    1. This is the 3rd one and you probably wont need to see the first two to be able to follow along. They haven't really said too much about the plot but the first two stories were pretty self contained and I'm pretty sure this one will be also. The only insight you would have would be more background on some of the characters.
